Overview
The Senior HRIS Analyst provides advanced technical support, maintenance, and technical execution for the Human Resource Management System (Workday) and other HR-related technologies. Serving as a deeply technical hands-on builder, this role acts as a bridge between complex system architecture and human intuition, ensuring that every configuration prioritizes and elevates the end-user colleague experience. This position is dedicated to driving day-to-day operations and executing complex system changes by translating ambiguous, real-world requests into automated and seamless solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the HR technology portfolio and roadmap in partnership with HRIS leadership, HR business owners, and other stakeholders across the business
Lead cross-functional projects that involve Workday and other HR technology solutions
Own and execute system administration for Workday, including configuration, business processes, security & compliance, notifications, data and configuration migration and knowledge transfer to HRIS Support and HR Shared Services teams.
Lead the planning, support, and execution of user acceptance cycles, including identifying and documenting all relevant test scenarios and test cases.
Work with key stakeholders and leadership to maintain the HR technology roadmap
Mentor lower level HRIS Analysts as needed and act as subject matter expert and provide functional support for Workday modules as assigned
Implement process improvements and policy changes designed to improve efficiency and the user experience with the system
Proactively partner with the business and Functional CoE’s to understand business issues, analyze data, and suggest ways to leverage Workday to enhance their services.
Participate in and lead project requirements gathering sessions with functional subject matter experts, IT and users
Produce effective documentation to capture and communicate business process and requirements in the format of business process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, data definition documents, decision trees, logic diagrams, requirements documents, and user experience flows.
Partner with implementation readiness teams to support the business, assess user needs, and ensure teams are ready for process and tool changes.
Evolve the HRIS technology portfolio and roadmap in partnership with HRIS leadership, our HR business owners, and other stakeholders across the business
Candidate Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, HR, HRIS, Business or related field OR equivalent years of experience. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of applicable professional experience for each year of college requested.
Experience
8+ years’ experience in WorkdayHRIS administration and configuration experience
8+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional environment
Working knowledge of HR systems and processes with a background implementing HR solutions – i.e., familiarity with employee life cycle transactions: new hire onboarding, leaves, employee benefits, terminations, etc.)
Strong knowledge of HRIS database design, structure, functions, and processes, and experience with databases tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management ability
Skills & Competencies
Advanced technical capability to build, modify, and optimize complex Workday business process workflows and system rules, maintaining a relentless focus on simplicity, ease of use, and elegant automation for the end-user.
Sharp data precision for handling massive organizational data sets, executing error-free EIB loads, and constructing multi-layered reports.
Strong capability to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve a high volume of day-to-day user tickets with speed and technical accuracy.
Rigorous attention to detail when testing system patches, validating routine updates, and conducting data integrity audits.
Proven ability to listen to varied stakeholder needs, ask the right questions, and synthesize loose or ambiguous requirements into highly reliable, structured system processes.

Incumbent is required to have:
- Close visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
Incumbent will be subject to:
- Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
Base Pay Range
Yearly: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
