Pest Control Technician - Walking Route

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following, but are not limited to:

• Travel to and from appointments to perform inspections and treatments
• Always follow the products label to apply pesticides or non-pesticides safely
• Perform the proper application methods within structures
• Carrying equipment, lifting mattresses, moving furniture, heavy appliances
• Completing all documentation on mobile device and route logs

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in pest control preferred
• More than 1 year of experience in Pest Control
• Good communication skills, both oral and written (bilingual is a plus - Spanish and English)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good client service attitude
• Ability to do physical demands of the job which includes
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs regularly (materials, equipment, etc.)
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit on prolonged periods
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching to apply treatments in various areas
• Comfortable to exposure in outdoor condition such as heat, cold, and rain
• Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills (handling and applying pesticide, etc)
• Must be able to work at heights (roof or attic inspection, removing very high nests, etc)
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, and goggles for extended periods.
