Service Specialist

Cross Pest Control of Tampa is a family-owned and operated pest control company serving the Tampa Bay area since 1968. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Service Specialist to join our growing team. Compensation will be comprised of Salary plus Commissions on Production. As a Field Specialist, you will perform pest prevention through the use of integrated pest management solutions and pesticide applications.

Responsibilities/Requirements include, but are not limited to the following:

• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and Fitness for Duty test
• Physical skills to lift, turn, and bend with a 20-30 lb equipment .
• Ability to lift and climb a ladder, and climb stairs to access all areas.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Florida Drivers License
• Excellent Driving Record

As a Cross Pest Control Technician, you will:

• Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Provide exceptional customer service to our clients every single day.
• Present a professional and tidy appearance, including your truck, equipment, and uniform.
• Provide inspections to determine identification and/or evidence of pest activity
• Discuss/Diagnose pest issues with clients, offering additional services/products when needed/desired along with recommendations for the prevention of pests
• Administer appropriate treatments for residential and commercial property, along with pest treatments in yards
• Service and maintain pest control equipment
• Provide written and oral communication, detailing findings and prevention strategies.
• You will also work closely with our client operations team for quality assurance in order to provide the highest level of service possible to our clients.
• Once resume has been reviewed, a completed application, pre-employment screening, working interview, background check, fitness for duty, and drug screening will be required of selected candidates.
